"Yeah"

For the longest time, Coen would say the word "no", but when he wanted to indicate agreement, he would simply nod. In the last couple of days, he has started to say "yeah". These little things make me so happy to note! :)

This photo cracks me up! They are so little and cute and they don't really talk much, but it looks like they are totally bullshitting with one another. I love it! This is my nephew Coen, with his mom's best friend's son.

Kansas Christmas Begins...

Here's one of the first of what I'm sure will be many holiday photos.... I love the intent expression on his face - he's opening new slippers, which he adored! His favorite word is SHOES!

Proud!

I just had a phone call from my niece Jackie. She is a high school senior and wanted to let me know that she has decided where to go to school next year. University of St. Thomas in St. Paul! I'm sooooooooo proud of her and excited for her as these new adventures begin. She's a total smart cookie and is getting lots of scholarship money, but I'm also sooooo proud of my brother and his wife for supporting Jackie in her dreams and in her future plans. I love you all! I had to have a little cry after I got off the phone even! Yay!!
